High-Output Sound System for Worship + Live Music
Challenge
The existing system lacked clarity and output. The client could not achieve the volume or impact required for their worship experience, and key components had failed
Solution
Designed a high-performance system centered around a JBL VTX line array, supported by distributed fills and subwoofers to match the room’s unique architecture.
Result
The new system delivers concert-level output with clear, consistent coverage throughout the space, supporting both speech and music with significantly improved impact and intelligibility.
The full system was installed between services, allowing the church to transition from the old system to the new system within a single week. The system features a center-hung JBL VTX A8 array for primary coverage, supplemented by JBL AC28 outfill and delay speakers, along with dual JBL B18 subwoofers for low-frequency impact. Crown I-Tech amplification with integrated DSP powers the system, and stage monitoring is provided for performers.
