Full Stadium Audio System Design + Implementation

Overview

Ground-up design and budgeting for high-performance stadium audio systems across both baseball and softball facilities

Result

A scalable, high-output system designed to deliver full-range audio coverage across large outdoor environments, supporting game-day operations, announcements, and events.

The system was designed to provide coverage for both the field and spectator areas, with speaker systems mounted on outfield structures. A Yamaha console at the operator position integrates with a Q-SYS DSP platform for centralized control and utilizes high-output Powersoft amplification. The design process included close coordination with engineers, architects, and construction teams, and features Fulcrum Acoustics main speaker clusters for long-throw coverage, and a centralized rack and control system located in the press box. The project scale is estimated at $290K total, including equipment and labor.
